Untitled requiem for life.

I once had a dream of a dream life (yes, there's nothing unique in that). And in that dream I was truly loved;  also famous, rich and everyone looked up to me as I could do no wrong. It was a well crafted dream and also the only place in which I was truly happy. Maybe it was my way of filling the figurative hole we all carry. Maybe it only widened it. Truth be told, I dream that dream quite often.
And so do you.

But before you start feeling sorry for me (and vice versa), let's take a moment. Or two.
Idle fantasies of unlimited richness, postcard perfect love, unending power and the like emerge in even the best of us. Few of us go out and do something about it, fewer actually get somewhere close to it and even fewer know how to deal with it when they do get it. And we both know, those fantasies will never die.
Only we will, in their pursuit.

But before you turn morbid or judge me as one, let's take another moment. Or not (but I suggest you do).
If those fantasies cause more harm than good, wouldn't we be better off avoiding these life consuming desires and staying free of things that want to control us and in most cases go on to ruin us?
Yes, of course. But I know I won't because my heart longs for a raging fire.
And so does yours.

The time of the year

Why is the 2nd of September a big deal? Let me explain.

25 years ago a small child was born in Bihar. Of course, a child is small when it is born. Even when born in Bihar.
Then, she grew up. Physically yes, mentally maybe, but that's the least of her problems. From Biratnagar to Bangalore to South Africa and now in Kathmandu, the journey has been remarkable.
(Remarkable in a shocking, disturbing and purely weird way)

What one can say about +payal atal  is that -
She is so funny. We all wish she wasn't.
Hajur, life's tough. For those who know me.
*wasn't away from us.
Her presence makes your day. It's miserable.
*miserable without her.

And one can also say -
If you see her happy and smiling and excited and if it is because of you then may there be mercy on your soul, because you will be voluntarily forced to give her so many gifts that you and your family would be broken both financially and emotionally.
I'm not lying. Ask my single kidney, if you don't trust me.

And finally one MUST say -
Happy Birthday to the most amazing person on the planet. Of course, that's not her.
But for one day, let's make her feel that way. Maybe she'll spare us.
*she won't.

Heartbleed

If it's the trend you gotta follow it, no reasons necessary because everyone's doin' it.
That's not logic. That's a fact. And fact's win.
The list of recent global trends include Gangnam style, Harlem shake, using Whatsapp, using fb and saying it's a waste of time and wasting more time on it and also eating way too many bland starters in posh restaurants at inhuman prices instead of proper food.
And the most recent, we have THE heartbleed.
Cry me a password

This is not your ordinary EMO version known intimately by hormonal teens, moms and tweens. This trend has caught the imagination of the cyberspace, our beloved WWW. THIS is now trending and if your computer is it's follower/victim, my condolences to you brother (better you than me).

Now now, where does this leave us?
Right where you were but a little more dead. It's a fact of life. Our heart bleeds and now your computers might too. But hey, it's a trend. And you are just a follower.

How much do you believe in yourself?

You look at a magician performing tricks and you don't believe your eyes. Same applies to the government playing tricks with your life and your banker with your bank balance.
You can't trust them.
So the question is, how much do you believe in yourself?
And the answer is not here.

But let me write a bit more.
When a politician speaks we see that creature but never listen to him, something similar applies to the treatment towards Moms too. But in the latter case, we are wrong and end up lost. Or dead.
When Adele sings we hear more than we see but when Pussy cat dolls "sang"...
When we eat we feel more rather than seeing how many tonnes we've already shoved in. When we exercise... just kidding, we don't.
When we drive we scream more at the traffic rather than seeing we are the traffic.
So the question is, now - What part of you do you believe in more and when? And how to decide? And why are you reading this blog?
And the answer is not here.

Fight or flight

The big question - FIGHT or FLIGHT, isn't it?
Should you fight your family or take a flight and get away from them. Of course, both are equally tempting to be performed simultaneously but who's going to pay for your existence?

Should you fight for survival or take a flight to Nepal and forgo life. It's not easy, obviously, taking a flight back to the stone age can be scary but who's going to care?

Should you fight the urge to quit or take a flight in Indigo. Both can be life threatening but who's going to find your body?

Should you fight in a flight or flight in a... okay, part of this sentence doesn't make sense.

Should you... that's enough for now.
